Base rate × engagement multiplier × deliverable count + usage-rights premium + exclusivity premium. The calculator handles the math so you can focus on negotiating.
When to walk away
If a brand offers "exposure", asks for free product in exchange for guaranteed posts, or wants permanent usage rights without paying — pass. Your audience is the asset; don't rent it cheaply.
FAQ
How much should I charge for a brand sponsorship?+
A common baseline: ₹100–₹500 per 1,000 followers for Instagram, and ₹1,500–₹4,000 per 10,000 average video views on YouTube. Niche, engagement and exclusivity push rates higher.
Should I charge per deliverable or per package?+
Always quote a package: 1 main piece + supporting Stories/Shorts + usage rights, billed as one line item. Brands prefer one number over a menu.
Do I include usage rights in the base rate?+
No. Charge 25–50% extra if the brand wants to whitelist or boost your content as ads, and define the duration in writing (e.g. 90 days).
What about exclusivity clauses?+
Exclusivity (not posting competitor brands for 30–90 days) deserves a 20–40% premium. Always cap the category and duration narrowly.
